Celebrating Tennis in Manchester

MHS recently received a wonderful artifact from the past, returning to Manchester 122 years after it was won: a men's doubles first place sterling silver trophy awarded by the Manchester Tennis Club in 1893. The gift comes to us from Deb Bermudes, whose mother, Kathleen Simocko, married Merriman Munson Reed, grandson of Rev. Albert C. Reed of Manchester. We thank her for this wonderful gift.
