Lucioni in Manchester: An Artist’s Life, July 28 - September 9

The Manchester Historical Society, in collaboration with the Southern Vermont Arts Center, is presenting an exhibit on the life and art of American artist Luigi Lucioni this summer. Lucioni in Manchester: An Artist’s Life opens July 28 and runs through September 9 in Gallery I at SVAC in Manchester.The show will include Christmas cards, sketch books, and the artist’s personal items as well as photographs of his home in Manchester and family members. MHS received a number of items this year belonging to Lucioni from Sharron and Frank Kropa who purchased his Manchester home and studio after his death. There will also be several paintings from private collectors on display that have never before been seen in public.MHS is grateful to Art Licensing International for their underwriting support of the exhibit.Visit the SVAC website for hours of operation svac.org.
