MHS Board Welcomes Two New Directors

We are delighted that Brian Marthage and Dave Quesnel have joined our Board of Directors.Brian is a practicing attorney in Bennington and has been fascinated by local and Vermont history for many years. A visible and vibrant community member, he has volunteered his services to several local nonprofits, including most recently to the Manchester Community Library and First Congregational Church. He and his wife Erica Marthage and their three children live in Manchester.Dave has lived in Manchester for several decades and is well known for his various careers including as a baker, a builder, a bartender, a construction project manager, a building consultant, and a property manager. Now retired, he is enjoying his life as an author and a volunteer. His latest book is GrandPAW’s Memoirs Tour de Vermont 251, in which he chronicles his bicycle tour through the 251 towns in Vermont, sharing  historical facts and plenty of humor.MHS is so very fortunate to have these two very talented community members offer their expertise and talent to help us in the years ahead.
