Manchester History Day

Stop by the Manchester Community Library on Sunday, September 25, from 1-4 pm to see a selection of interesting artifacts, documents, and photographs from Manchester's past. On display will be Little Eli, 19th century pump engine that really was used to put out fires, Revolutionary War artifacts including our 18th century Ormsby fowling musket in its beautiful new case, a powder horn, and Council of Safety documents. Also on display will be a number of  Manchester Band uniforms, clothing once worn by Dr. J.D. Wickham, legendary head of Burr and Burton Seminary and time capsule contributions from Burr and Burton's class of 2017.
