The Power of Water in the History of Manchester and Dorset on May 16

Join us for an fascinating look at the role water has played in local history. This is a preview to this year's VT History Expo program, "H2O: The Power of Water in Vermont History," which takes place June 18-19 at the Tunbridge World Fairgrounds in Tunbridge, Vermont. The joint program with the Dorset Historical Society will include maps and photographs that tell the story of the waterways in the geology and history of Dorset and Manchester, including the uses they were put to for manufacturing and recreation. The program will be presented at the Manchester Community Library at 6:30 pm.To learn more about this year's VT Expo visit the Vermont Historical Society.
